Festival Facts

• Organized by Austin's AHEPA, a pan-American Greek philanthropic association
• Expected to draw more than 5,000 Austin/Texan attendees-mostly families.
• Covered by local radio and TV stations
• Location: Laguna Gloria - Austin Museum of Art, Austin Texas
• Time:Friday and Saturday, May 12th and 13th 6:00pm - 12:00 midnight
• Entrance fee $7, children under 12 enter free
• Vision: the biggest, most fun and most educational festival in Austin

  History

  The Texas Greek Festival tradition started on April 29, 2001 at the Fiesta Gardens. More than 2,000 people attended the event that featured delicious Greek food, music, dance performances, cultural exhibits, kids' events, an arts and crafts bazaar, lots of broken plates, and much, much more! The event was covered by local radio stations and the Central Texas TV channels KXAN and KVUE in the daily news. More than enything it brought the world reknowned Greek 'Kefi' (or spirit) to the Austin community.
